A special
grand opening is planned for Saturday,
November 4th and
will feature the watercolor paintings of award-winning
artist Patricia Hooper, who recently relocated to Urbana
from the Indianapolis
area. Also featured will be a special exhibit commemorating the
November 1st
Mexican holiday festival of Day of the
Dead and the Celtic holiday festival of Samhain,
both of which have their roots in ancient rituals. Live music and other
entertainment will be scheduled during the afternoon from 12 -5 and
many of the
artists represented in the gallery will be present. Refreshments will
be served
throughout the day.
